Objective

RUMSA is an education center dedicated to the wellbeing and betterment of the Muslims and society at large. RUMSA draws its strength and guidance from the Holy Qur’an and the authentic Sun’nah (Traditions) of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (May the peace and blessing of Allaah be upon him). And help ourselves, our brothers, our sisters, and our families in Islam by providing the necessary tools and platform to learn and practice the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sun’nah.

Mission statement

Creating a center for the youth and families of Rochester, Minnesota and it is surrounding areas. Establishing a center to seek knowledge, worship, leadership building, reaching out to the community at large and educating them about Islam and Muslims. To improve the Muslim community of Rochester in helping each other to implement the Qur’an and Sun’nah in our daily lives.

Vision

1.Discipline:-  the inword and the outward of the executive, volunteers should work according to the Qur’an and Sun’nah

2.Connect:- ourselves to the masjid and follow the Islamic guidelines

3.Educate ourselves: - Teach each other the fundamentals and basic Islamic knowledge, and we should have scheduled lessons for ourselves.

4.Sources: - be a role model for the young ones by giving them advice and showing them by action.

5.Provide activities for the youth: -provide fun activities for the youth by making available recreational activities. In addition, provide homework help for the youth the ages between elementary to high schools.

6.Organize monthly events for the Muslim community of Rochester: - establish events for the whole community by organizing lectures and conferences in the Masjid and outside the Masjid.

7.Organize social events within the Islamic guidelines: - organize Eid events for the community to come and celebrate together, and for the kids to have fun.
